london

a nice weekend in lovely London, and i decided to finally make more use of my sidelined camera.

my favourite place in Harrod’s – the foodhall :)
everything looks so pretty, delicious and inviting, but also horribly overpriced (looking at the price tag stops the mouthwatering immediately i swear…)
oh and i saw “char kway teow” under the “thai food” section.  go do your homework, people!!!
it’s a maze i tell you.  i always get lost in Harrod’s but miraculously manage to find the Krispy Kremes counter somehow :)

i’m truly glad they finally cleaned up their act well and good.  the place looks amazing now, definitely a far cry from that thing you call a dump that just existed a mere 2 weeks ago.  loves it :)

and i finally got my fix of the south ken creperie.  i actually chowed down 2 full crepes while cumarran and hilda just laughed at me in disbelief.  it’s all winter’s fault (yeah, blame it on the weather)
clockwise: hilda’s cherry special, norwegian salmon crepe, strawberries and cream with white chocolate

the untold story of the witches of oz…

with only 1 lecture early in the morning and £20 tickets for Wicked! found at the last minute, grace and i took a day trip down to london for the matinee and since we were early, i decided to look for a little something at king’s cross

yup, that’s a trolley that’s half-embeded in the brick wall :)

it was pure bliss. whoever is in london/nyc please try your best to catch it. in terms of storyline and originality, in my books, it trumps phantom of the opera. music-wise, phantom still has the best songs but kerry ellis, who plays elphaba in london, has an amazing voice! i need more time… there’re too many musicals to catch :(
